A Timeless Setting
Are you ready for a glimpse of Old Mexico? The architects who designed and built Hacienda Sisal took their inspiration from Mexican haciendas or estate houses in different parts of the country and created a masterpiece. With its immense courtyard, arches, vaulted ceilings, columns, fountains and original paintings, the setting is spectacular. Murals keep up the illusion of life on a hacienda with sweeping vistas of Mexican landscapes. A truck or flatbed wagon once used on a henequen hacienda in the Yucatan is displayed amidst a bed of henequen plants in front of the restaurant, and even the mahogany bar is an antique – it dates from 1850.
